Brian Rose is a retired pitcher for the Boston Red Sox. Growing up in New Bedford, MA, Brian was utterly shocked when he was drafted by his hometown Sox out of high school.
After pitching 5 years in the Majors, Brian is so excited to be one of our first athletes in the CCChampions Providence chapter. Today, Brian is a distinguished coach for the New Bedford Bay Sox, and is the head instructor at the Brian Rose Baseball Academy.

After Jacob (one of the best young pitchers around!) had to give up baseball to undergo treatment, he was so excited to become friends with a real Red Sox pitcher, Brian Rose. Brian explained that as a baseball player, it wasn’t always easy. But he believed in himself, his team, and his family, and as he explained to Jacob, that attitude helped him become the man and the successful athlete he is today.
